Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella
Hi my loves! I’m back with another theatre blog post! So, on Saturday the 16th of August me, my Mam, my Aunty Clare and My Nana Vera headed down to London on a coach to see Cinderella! We got picked up by the coach at 7 am and made one stop at the services before heading down to London. We shared so many laughs on the coach ride, I love it when we all just get time to sit and chat and have a laugh. We arrived in London at about 13:30 ready for the show at 15:00.
We had pretty good seats in the theatre with a good view of the stage, one thing I will say though, the seats weren’t the comfiest but that doesn’t matter as the show was phenomenal! Carrie Fletcher played the role of Cinderella with Ivano Turco as Prince Sebastian. They as well as the rest of the cast were amazing! They all had incredible voices. The dancing was amazing too! Every single cast member in that show was brilliant! I laughed a lot and cried too. No spoilers, but there were some scenes especially towards the end that made me emotional (happy tears of course). I’ve had the soundtrack playing nonstop since I went to see the show and I would definitely go and see it again!
We stayed at a Holiday inn just outside of London on Saturday night which was a really lovely hotel with really nice food! The beds were so comfy too!
Then on Sunday we had a few hours in London. Our driver dropped us off at the top of Oxford Street so we decided to pop into the Disney Store (of course!) where I picked up a couple of their new Christmas ornaments and then we headed to Primark for a look, I was pretty disappointed though as they didn’t have much of the new stock. Once we had finished shopping we headed back to the bus to go home. I had such a lovely weekend!
Thank you again for reading and thank you all so much for all of your support! I have another theatre trip booked which you will all hear about too!
