The Disneyland Hotel: Is it worth it?
Hi my loves, as you may know I recently came back from a trip to Disneyland Paris where we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. Truly a dream come true! I thought I'd write a post about our experience and if I think it's worth the price tag. As you know saying at the Disneyland Hotel can be expensive so I thought I'd weigh up the pros and cons.
Pros:
Not gonna lie, there's a lot more pros than cons! One of the main pros is the experience. You're definitely getting a five star service in such a beautiful location. I'll never get over how beautiful it is. The rooms, the restaurants, the reception area, everything! The location is also an amazing pro, you're so close to the Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (or Studios as many of you will know it) is just around the corner. There's no need to go through security again once you've checked in (unless you go off site of course) and I must admit it was lovely to have a short walk back to our room after a long day of about 20,000 steps and staying up late to watch the fireworks. The staff are always so helpful and you have everything at your fingertips. If you're a princess lover like me then you'll love the Disneyland Hotel. We were able to request the theme of the room we'd like a week before arrival, this all depends on what's available but we chose Tangled and were lucky enough to be given a Tangled room. The Princesses are another big pro. Meeting them has never been easier! Included in your stay you can book to meet a princess down at the kids club and you can do this as many times as you like throughout the day. The princesses rotate every hour or so and we managed to meet 6 different princesses whilst at the hotel.
Cons: There's really only one con ands you can probably guess what I'm about to say. The price!! A stay at the Disneyland Hotel will set you back quite a bit, especially if you're staying at a peak time or during the school holidays. We were lucky enough to go at a quieter time so the price was a lot lower than some of the quotes I've seen for say October half term.
Overall, I'd say if you're able to stay there at least once then go for it. You won't regret it at all. It's the most incredible experience that you'll treasure forever. You don't stress so much about the price tag once you're there and amongst the magic. Honestly if the price was right I'd stay there again to relive it all (or if I win the lottery? 😂). All of the onsite hotels are incredible but the Disneyland Hotel is definitely the best. If you want to be treated like royalty, that's the place to go! I've attached some photos from our stay below.
