Recent favourites

 Hello my lovelies! It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post! Truth be told I honestly haven’t had any ideas for posts. I haven’t written since March and as we all know a lot has happened since then! I hope you are all doing ok during this difficult time. Sending my love to you all! Thank you all for being so patient and supportive especially on my social media. You are all so kind and it’s so nice to see that there’s so many more of you so welcome if you’re new to my blog! I’m writing this post at midnight... it’s funny how ideas suddenly come to you at the most random times! As I haven’t written a post for about 6 months I realised there’s a lot of new things I’ve been loving that I haven’t shared with you so I thought I would do one big post to share them all as it’s been so long and I have so many favourites! 

The first thing I’ve been loving is Disney Plus! I’ve been spending a lot of time at home which means I’m always searching for something to watch on TV and not gonna lie most of the TV shows have been repeats recently so I’m so glad I have Disney Plus! I love that there are so many original shows as well as the classic movies etc. I’ve been loving watching the Imagineering story as well as some of the old classics like The Goofy Movie. Oh and I’ve been watching Frozen 2 on repeat! Frozen 2 is another one of my favourites at the moment. It’s such a beautiful movie with a stunning soundtrack. I cry every time I watch it though... Oh and I’m sure many will agree when I say I prefer Frozen 2 to Frozen. I love them both don’t get me wrong but Frozen 2 just means a bit more to me if that makes sense. Plus Show Yourself is such a stunning song. I listen to it nearly every day. I can’t wait to see some of the new releases coming to Disney Plus soon too! Including Once Upon A Snowman. I love Olaf! 

Now I know I’m not alone when I say I love Animal Crossing New Horizons! So many of you are also playing it. I didn’t have a Nintendo Switch before lockdown started but I have some lovely friends on Instagram who were all playing ACNH so I decided to order a Switch as well as the game. I love it so much! I’ve been playing it every day since April. It’s such a relaxing game and I like that you can visit other peoples islands. Also the villagers are so cute! I recently got two of my dreamie villagers (Fauna and Maple) and they are adorable! I love how they have little personalities even though it’s a video game! My island is currently at 4 stars but I’m slowly starting to rearrange everything to how I want it and I’ve just finished moving all of the houses to nicer places so hopefully my island will look prettier soon! I also love the new Autumn update! I love the fact that you can grow Pumpkins and decorate your island for Autumn. If you have Animal Crossing tell me who your favourite villagers are! Oh and I also got Mario Kart 8 when I got my Switch which I love but don’t play nearly as much! I need to get some other games! 

The third thing I’ve been loving recently is reading. I love to read on a night before I go to bed as it helps me to wind down. I’ve been trying to read instead of scrolling through my phone before bed as I know it’s a bad habit! I’ve read a couple of books during lockdown as I only tend to read a couple of pages a night. Two of the books I’ve read were amazing though, those were The Choice and The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Both are very emotional but brilliant stories. In currently reading ‘The Woman Who Stole My Life’ by Marian Keyes. I’m only a couple of chapters in but I’m enjoying it so far! The next thing I suppose is kinda random but I’m sharing it anyway. I love the Lotus Biscoff Sandwich biscuits! Especially the vanilla flavour! They are so nice. I could honestly sit and eat the whole packet in one go. I don’t though don’t worry although it is very tempting! 

The last thing I wanted to tell you all about is my new favourite perfume! Gucci Bloom! It’s such a beautiful floral scent. I’m so in love with it. I like thats it’s not a really heavy scent but it lasts all day. I wear it nearly every day. Plus the bottle is so pretty! I love the pink colour! 

Thank you all so much for being so patient while I’ve taken some time off writing. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive and checking if I’m ok. I really appreciate every single one of you! Also, this is my last day as a 21 year old. I turn 22 tomorrow! This year has flown by. I hope you are all safe, happy and well. Love you all!
