Eczema.

This week I decided to talk about an insecurity of mine which I know can't be helped and I want anyone who suffers from the same thing to know it's okay too. I was born with severe Eczema and I still suffer with it quite often especially in the cold weather or the opposite, the heat. It mostly occurs on my hands which can affect me when I'm writing or performing simple everyday tasks, sometimes I can't even bend my fingers. It quite often occurs on my legs, ears and face too. Most of the time I struggle to cover it as foundation clings to it and makes it stand out even more lol. Such a pain. Anyway I thought I would share some of the things that help me. Anything Aveeno basically. It's  such a lovely brand which is gentle to skin, their bath oil is lovely for when I've had such a stressful day and my eczema has flared up. I also carry the hand cream around with me in my bag for on the go. Stress makes my skin worse so it's nice to be able to have something handy to stop the pain. The best thing to do is run your hand under cold water first to help take the puffiness away then dry your hands and use a moisturizer. It's always great to speak to your doctor too as sometimes they can prescribe you medication to help. If you have any questions or anything that you find helpful then please send me a message. All tips will be gratefully received as I am determined to get this under control! Laura x

  1. Hey really good post!
I get bad eczema on my hands too and I have really bad reaction to certain lotions.
I try to use Dove or Nivea to calm my Eczema down and I use E45 too.
I never used Aveeno before so I will give it a try
